The principal purpose of the compilers being to provide selections likely to stimulate the interest of college students in the reading and study of history. Excerpts have been made both from primary sources and secondary works. Very little documentary material, however, has been included. Such material is of course readily available in a number of source books on medieval history.
This hardcover book is in good condition with minor imperfections to the cover. Pages in good condition with age toning. Multiple owner inscriptions inside the cover and some underlining on pages.
