Passages Through Time - Stories About Kansas City Missouri and Its Northeast Neighborhood by Dory DeAngela
Portrait photographer, David Remley has returned to live in his Northeast boyhood home near Cliff Drive. He says: “The attraction that the neighborhood has for is that it is a combination of small-town warmth and, with Kessler Park close by, is a unique opportunity to enjoy an urban wilderness.” Cliff Drive was David’s playground as a youngster. He has returned to the cliffs at various times of the year to take pictures at different times of the day in the changing light to document the surrounding area and its animals, insects, birds, trees, and plants. He also has an ongoing project of documenting the growth of his daughter Kelley, who is probably one of the most photographed young ladies in the Northeast.
