Boxing - The Barnes Sports Library by Edwin L. Haislet
Haislet's book offers a clear, well-organized introduction to the fundamentals of boxing. Some of the training advice is dated, but the instruction on technique is excellent. Illustrated with simple drawings. There are also sections on such things as fighting a taller opponent, a southpaw, an inside fighter, etc. There is no substitute for a good coach and sparring partners. But if you wanted to learn the fundamentals of "the sweet science" from a book, or use a book to supplement what you were picking up in the gym, I don't think you could find a better one.
This hardcover book is in good condition with moderate imperfections to the cover including an owner’s inscription on the cover and inside the cover. Pages have some discoloration to the first couple pages.
